The Haute Route
The Chamonix to Zermatt classic is world famous for good reason. This makes a high level traverse over the glaciers and peaks just north of the main Alpine crest and covers some spectacular terrain. It is justifiably popular. For more solitude and adventure this tour can be done late February or early March before the huts open carrying food and staying in winter huts. 7 days.
The Gran Paradiso Haute Route
A splendid traverse taking in the cols at the heads of the Valgrisenche, Val di Rhemes and Valsavaranche. Excellent touring terrain with friendly Italian huts and beautiful ski peaks like Punta Galisia. The Grand prize of the tour is skiing Gran Paradiso, 4061m. The highest mountain in Italy. 6 days
Silvretta Ski tour
The Silvretta is a beautiful 6 day ski tour in the Austrian alps. It combines great ski terrain for a wide range of skill levels with fun, relaxed huts. Starting in Ishgl and finishing in Galtur the tour follows the peaks that line the Swiss Austrian border. Many peaks can be summited throughout the week with the stunning Piz Buin (3312m) being A high pointe and a great summit.
